The management office is led by the regional director and consists of approximately one thousand employees. With a governing, supportive, and coordinating role, the management office is tasked with supporting the political leadership and administrations so that the political direction is reflected in the region's various activities. Our Operations

Do you want to work in an organization that is building something new and socially important? Region Uppsala is making long-term investments to develop modern and efficient healthcare logistics. As part of this work, the region has established a central logistics organization with the task of ensuring a robust and effective supply of materials to healthcare through central management. Right now, the logistics organization is in an expansive phase where we will implement a new business system and launch a central warehouse in-house. The central warehouse will serve as the hub for the region's material supply to healthcare and will be an important part of the region's investment in increased supply preparedness.

Your Mission

We are now looking for a structured and service-oriented logistics coordinator to join our team! As a logistics coordinator, you will be a key person in our daily logistics operations where we supply healthcare, based on needs, with various medical products. It is a broad and varied role where you work operationally and service-oriented, with daily contact with both healthcare's orderers and external suppliers. You have a large network and play an important role in coordinating flows and solving issues along the entire supply chain - from ordering to delivery. This makes you a central player in our team, where collaboration, communication, and problem-solving are in focus.

Your responsibilities include:

• Order planning - with the aim of optimizing the central warehouse's inventory levels according to the needs of the operations
• Operational purchasing, including monitoring deliveries of placed orders
• Forecasting and assortment work
• Supplier follow-up - monitoring suppliers' delivery precision, etc.
• Customer order management of orders from the region's orderers/healthcare units
• Customer order support - answering questions regarding orders, deliveries, and material availability
• 1st and 2nd line support - answering questions from the region's orderers related to the use of the region's new business system (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
• Master data management
• Monitoring the central warehouse's metrics/KPIs
• Participating in development work related to processes and working methods and contributing to continuous improvement efforts

As the operations and the position are new, you will be involved in shaping both the role and the area of responsibility.

Your Qualifications

We prefer that you have a post-secondary education in logistics, purchasing, economics, or another relevant field. We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in logistics/supply chain in a complex operation
• At least 2 years of experience in order planning and operational purchasing
• Experience in analyzing and presenting data

Meritorious:

• Experience in implementing new order systems
• Experience in customer service work
• Worked in healthcare
• Good knowledge of business, logistics, and BI systems
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Knowledge of medical products

Your Competence

To succeed in this role, you are meticulous and structured with a strong focus on quality. You have analytical skills and can see the big picture while also having an eye for detail. You have a problem-solving attitude and the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. You enjoy helping others and have a genuine commitment to providing good service. We also see that you have good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external parties.
